In what context was it mentioned? It sounds like it's referring to NAT (Network Address Translation). You can try Googling for information on NAT. My brain's too fried to give a good explanation right now. :rolleyes:
Crap. I can't find anything on this, anywhere. I've asked a couple people, who I expected to know exactly what it was, but they aren't sure, either. It appears to be related to, or is a type of port forwarding. For the few hits that Google supplies, I'm surprised that there's no definition of the term. Good luck, I'll keep looking.

i saw it on a site (i dont have the url unfortunatenly =\ ) saying something about IDS etc, i dont remember the text exactly, i asked a few people, they didnt know the answer either.
