I'm surprised this has only just been reported because it's actually quite old news. Netgear have had a firmware update available on their website for at least a month - I got a RP614v2 for home about a month ago and did the proper thing and checked for firmware updates immediately.

warning, if you have the RP614v2 do NOT apply the update for RP614 and vice versa.

I know that there are some users out there that use routers from netgear and don't even bother checking to see if there is a firmware update. it is sad that they don't thanks DeadAddict for the heads up.
