A day in the life...

Just another typical Monday. After department meetings I am told that I need to upgrade the domain to W2K / Active Directory. I must have it done in 3 months and must use existing hardware; no test environment or lab.

I am considering:

Start / Run /Setup on the existing PDC with the W2K Server disk - then getting a job as a Wal-Mart greeter.

Typing dcpromo on an existing W2K server and getting a job flipping burgers at McDonalds

Seeing if my old LILO boot disks still work.

Have I forgotten anything?

Gotta love this sysadmin stuff!

Ugh, it sickens me to see an Admin bend over. Read my Bastard sys admin stories, then tell them you want security cameras so you can cut a few costs in insurance, then catch them doing things they shouldnt be doing at work and blackmail the hell out of them.

You are an Admin, make them FEAR asking you to do things!
