I know quite a bit about vb. You could try a few of these sites
http://www.vbforums.com
http://www.planetsourcecode.com
http://www.a1vbcode.com
Also you can go on kazaa and look up some good .pdf books. Hope this helps
I feel that White Eskimo made a remark that was "slightly over the top"........ASSUMING THAT THE GUY HAD RESEARCHED FIRST?....I would accept a question from someone who had "had a look for themselves" so to speak?
I would not criticise...AO is all about understanding?
Cheers
http://visualbasic.about.com/ looks interesting. You don't have to buy books, you'll learn as much if you just read tutorials. Maybe a book is good if it's your first language (I have troubles keeping concentrated for a long time when I read books on my computer)
whoa..i defiently didnt really expect to be negged with that post...errr, well some of you people (no names mentioned :)) neged me but didnt give me reason. Anyways, please PM and tell me why you did it. I told the guy to search google.com because when i did i thought i found some useful information. Anyways, thought i might tell you why i posted...
Come on people take it easy on white eskimo. He was just giving me some pointers, I guess I was supposed to make my question a little bit clearer. I had searched on google and found some good reviews about a couple of books, but I guess I wanted some actual "I learned a lot using this ___________ book" and maybe some other pointers on visual basic in general kind of answer u know, but anyways thanx to everybody for their help.
