Hi all Just got a hard drive from my friend and it has about 7000 songs, well here's the question most of the music has dead sound at the begining and the end and Im wondering if there is any music editing software that can remove the dead ( blank ) noise from the music file itself. I have adeptec and Music match but theres nothing there. I hope you guys cxan help and I thank you.

This shoud help you, assuming the songs are all in mp3-format... It's a 30-day trial... . I'm sure there are cheaper solutions, but this definitely will help you get the job done.
Nero has a wonderful music editing tool which I use all the time but am not sure if there are any free copies out there but it doesn't hurt to look.
I will look around and see if there are shareware or trial versions and let you know.
