Yeah, the Bush Administration is going to be in deep doo doo if these weapons don't turn up. I think the thing people need to keep in mind though, is not where are the WMD, but where is the proof that they were indeed destroyed! Saddam was under obligation by the United Nations to show he destroyed the WMD; to this date he has failed to do so.
Just my thoughts there rcgreen.
Doo doo from whom? If that were true then the protesters would have had his ass impeached a long time ago... What peaple forget is how many times we have went to war in countries we have no ties to and for no other reason other than to help the U.N. WMD's will be found. I know this because they have been used before on Iraq's own citizens, and ther previous presidencies new about the WMD's. Its just a matter of time.

Something that is very important that is drowned out by the FUD is that biological and chemical weapons both have very short shelf lifes. The old anthrax and nerve gas the bush administration yapped so much about and wanted proof that it was destroyed would be totally useless now and for along time(years). The iraqis never put anthrax into a dried form which is the only way to keep it viable for any amount of time. Nerve gasses and such also break down and lose effectiveness very quickly also. The fact is it is very easy to produce bio/chem weapons, I have all that is needed to do pure culture work right here in my house and anyone with a year of university chem or bio could make very toxic gases or organisms quite easily(possibly not safely).But it is quite hard to be able to effectivley deploy or store them(ala the use of us goverment anthrax in the anthrax letters). As far as nuclear arms if they had anything to with that it would have been known as it takes a very large area and many. people to do. I find the whole issue quite laughable considering the us goverments recent discussions/plans to make "usable" nuclear weapons.

WTF dude, Once agian... Save themselves from whom? Many of the protesters are either bored of have nothing left to complain about other than the economy... Pluse for the first time in a long time we are now in control of our own operations instead of babey sitting other coutries for our allies & the U.N. who ask (or sometimes even offer to pay us) to protect countries that we have no major economical & political roles or ties to. But you know us americans don't give a **** about peaple in other coutries (I don't) :cool:
Pluse your forgeting that this is a country where our goverment sent spooks into villages then burned peaple's homes not to mention everything else... and lets not forget the patriot act.

Save themselves from what the UN/world opinion would be of the president and the US because Bush guaranteed that WMD were in Iraq somewhere, but yet they haven't been found. Evidence of possible manufacturing have been found, but no actual WMD.
