got a job, got my own place, got a fiancee - but i still spend way too much time online >_<

This is an excellent example of how hacking, though they hackers may consider what they are doing as harmless, has consequences and the hackers will eventually be brought to justice. I don't feel bad for this Breuninger character. Hacking is hacking plain and simple, you break the law and you will have to face up to it. Hopefully he will be able to turn his life around now, and start living.
As the old quote goes "you can only fly high for so long" and "All good (though hacking is not always good) things must come to an end" about sums it up.
