Extra text transfer

Hi, every here of this helping? There is a storage server at the local colledge that can be accessed over the internet with secure shell transfer. But for some reason when I view html files that have been transfered through the server, they often have extra text in them from other files. It doesn't show uop in the source and shouldn't be there period. Any Idea's?

That sound's weird, can you attach one of the html files and We can look at it. or just paste in the html code and then paste in what the page shows extra, either one would do.
