linux sound problems

i hav current;y installed redhat 9 on my computer
ive already figured out that my sb audigy pci card will not work but i did find drivers for my built in c-media chip
in the sound card detection menu it sees it as cm8738 and its using module cmpci
the drivers are the correct ones but how do i install them on my system so i can hav sound?
