Thats right, you can type it and they'll hear it. Not only that, but what they say, how they sound, and background noises the operator hears will be typed back to you! Best thing yet, it's FREE to anywhere within the usa. I was a little bit bewildered and a lot paranoid when i got my first message on my celly from a friend using this service, then he called be back again. Boy was that a wierd experiance. You can choose to have a male or female operator as well.

Wow, I know they have those TTYs for deaf people, but I never knew it would go this far...

yea, this service was only for deaf people at first, but now anyone can use it. I think it's great, I can type a quick call to remind some one of something in another state with no charges. Not to mention, its a load of fun to call your friends like this just for kicks!
