well every body knows reg tricks but i am just trying to collect all of them
i want the useful ones , like this one:
making the start menu faster
regedit>local user>control panel>desktop
u stand there than u look for the menu show delay key u set it to zero u restart or log out-->log in
this is the kind i want not the ones used on networks maybe we should make one for other tricks

Check out O'Reilly books. There's one I have called Widnows XP Pocket reference and it has some great registry tweaks in it. But I think they also have one that is in depth about the registry.
Go to www.downloads.com and look for registry tweaking programs and look at the keys they change.
Also www.altavista has a huge archive of registry tweaks but is also spring loaded with trojans etc

Besides reg tweaking you can use X-Setup to mess up with your SO.
Want a quick hint? Get WinCommander - it's a superb file commander with a ton of features, and then disable win's desktop with X-SEtup. You will notice the diference on speed. In the begging working without desktop can seem strange, but has time goes by you'll see how fast you can do things without using the mouse..
