Young People and Child Pornography...

The other day I was talking to a friend, and that friend told me that he liked to look at little girls nude. I said, "What? How little?" and he said, "Well, between the ages of 15-17... why?"

Now, that seems really bad and all, but taking into consideration that he is only 16 years old himself, is child pornography immoral in his circumstance, do you think? He tells me, when I inquired to him why he liked that kind of stuff, that he likes it better because it's more like people that are close to his age, and actually seems more realistic to him like someone who he might go to school with.

What do you guys think about this? I'm not really sure..

ps- I'm not asking whether or not it is right or moral to take photographs or videos of young people, because I think we're all on the same limb with saying that is wrong. But, what I'm asking is if you all think that HE is in the wrong or odd because he wants to see people of his own age, and not some people who've had sex with 100 guys in porno movies.

Ooh...good question. I don't think it is odd that he would want to see naked women his own age. I do think it is odd that he isn't interested in older women though. When I was 16, I wanted to score with...I dunno..Bo Derek? Farrah Fawcett...any one of the women in the underwear section of the JC Penny catalog?

That said, it is still immoral. I'm not exactly sure how to explain myself. It is still against the law..it is still exploitive....damn Jehnny...that's a hard question to answer....that's the level of questions I ask that makes my bosses mad, because they don't know how to answer either.

hell im 16 and of course i would like to see naked girls my own age, that is normal but I also like older woman(not like 30-40) but like 19-25 or so. But when you are like older then it's not cool that you would like to see 16 year old girls naked. It also depend on the behavior of the girl and the build;). I mean i know a girl she is like 15 but looks like 18 with those ****. You can't really get an answer on that question because veryone sees it in a different way and some people have a sick mind. The answer depends on many facts.

better than obsessing over some rich model or actress ten years

Getting into lots of pictures of strangers has got to be a bad
thing, you could never have a relationship with any of those
people. They are just a commodity on the market. They can only
blunt your desire to know someone in the real world.

My guess is that the consumption of porn is mainly by creepy old
guys with no social skills, guys no woman would touch.
The young should pursue a relationship with someone you could realistically
hope to marry.

i think it is entirely normal for a 16 year old to dig others their age.....however, i am 31 and i will take a sexy older woman (25-35) over a younger babe ANY DAY......I have found an emotional attraction that is impossible to find in a significantly younger person...the way older, sexier women move, talk, speak, and the way their mind works is a complete turn-on!!

Seems very normal to me, at least as far as my senile addled memory can remeber back to the time I was that age.

I don't think it is "immoral" for a 16 year old to look at naked chicks his age, but the key is that it is illegal. I cannot condone an illegal activity, even if I support the situation.

Of course, I'm way too old to look at 16 year old girls anymore... Those days are long gone.

well jehney i am only 13 and i have to tell u girls in the 13-16 age are not always actrative to see naked as people would think most the girls in my school r flat and havent even got into puberty. 16 i am not intirely shure about but i think ur freind has a good excuse to look at people his age. i would not say its right but i would not say its wrong.

If he doesn't feel 'odd' or anything, at this point [in this situation] it is acceptable I believe for him to look at whoever he wants. I'm not saying that of you're fine with something society has to agree with it [social morality that tends to evolve into ethics] but in this case I do not think anybody should hold it against him.
It is, by far, more pleasureable to find a girl you would be attracted to in both a physical and emotional/intellectual way - and it is possible, at 16ish, for that to happen - and share things with her. Anything sexual on the internet is porn... if it happens to you, it may be erotism. The point is, while child pornography [though that makes me think of even younger girls] is illegal on the basis of the incapacity of those taking act in the movie/photoshoot/whatever to consent to it [and this is usually regarded as a maturity issue - that's why we have the drinking age etc], supply exists because of demand. Again, if he has no issues with it, nobody should [I direct it only at his viewing of porn]. In order to solve the problem of child pornography demand, however, the reasons behing it must be addressed - simply interdicting it will not root it out. With this, like many other things, legislators failed to see the problem in its fullest...
