Build your own router

I know that this isn't really that security related although in the segment I will mention they did talk about some benefits security wise. I was just watching The ScreenSavers on techTV and they did a segment on making your own wireless router. I was really fascinated by it. I think it would be a really cool project if I had 300+ dollars laying around. I thought I'd post this for those of you looking for a project and just because I thought it was so interesting.
