The point is I've been trying for 2 hours now to find the right search string and I haven't got anywhere.
I was hoping someone had the knowledge already and could pass it on.

Im stumped im thinking google wouldnt let you search for email address like that because it would be easy for spammers to harvest email lists to spam people with not unless you search for each address individualy :D
I've managed to improve things with:
But google just ignores the @ or +@ completelyQuote:
myco.com -www -http -https
Also I can't get it to accept wildcards in the author search, otherwise that would solve my problem too.
Yeah, I suppose it would make it too easy for harvesting email addresses...
Ah, well

I've had some luck with the following:
email * * <domain>
Also, I tried groups.google.com and just entered <domain> and was quite surprised to find some personal posts at times when people should have been working ;)
Would I be incorrect to assume that you are trying to discover the same thing? If not, the only other option I can think of is a freeware email harvesting app.
Thanks for the info - just about to go home so I'll play later.Quote:

What I'm trying to do is to see what people in my company are writing in public to see if is likely to open up an easy route for social engineering - For example someone may post to surfing newsgroup and could then be easily befriended by someone who claimed to be into surfing etc. etc.
It's all about understanding the profile my company is showing to the world should 'hackers' be interested in attacking

/edit
Real surfing, not internet surfing!
I was able to come up with some results by searching for
"@domain.xxx" -www -http -https
This didn't work for you?
I tried with several domains... sucessful everytime...
