UnrealTournament 2004 running on Red HAT 9.0 ???

hi,

i've recently installed RED HAT 9.0 on my system to learn more from unix / linux, and i've tried to install UT2004 on it.... everything went fine but when i try to start the game i get this error message:

anyone knows how to solve this problem? i've downloaded the latest patch for UT2004 but this doesn't help either....

b.t.w. my system: ASUS P4B533 mobo, PIV 3.06 ghz HT, 1GB memory, 120GB hdd + 80GB hdd, and Geforce 4 TI 4600 Ultra graphics card....

and i'm new to linux, so this might become a problem to install the drivers :)

Hey, man. Installing drivers in linux is generally not particularly difficult. I'm not sure if you've found your Geforce drivers yet, but if you haven't, here's the driver download page:

You just select what you want using the three boxes. NVIDIA drivers are generally very easy to install. It just involves running a shell script that will do all the driver installation for you. You then just need to update your XF86Config (or whatever it's called) file to show that you've installed the new drivers. It'll tell you how to do this on the nvidia site or on a readme that you can download from there.

well the main problem was finding the driver, but i think i've got the right one finally...
in an hour of 5 i'm gonna install it and see if it works , i'll let you guys know....
