RH9 Root Icon problem

Goodday!

OS: Redhat 9

Root folder icon on desktop not working.

When i double click on it, nothing happens.

How do i solve this prob and what is the cause of it?

Then, What window manager (KDE, Gnome, other). (include version)
What do you mean 'root folder' do you mean the folder to /root or /
Third, does your user have permissions to view that folder?

I use KDE.
When i installed Redhat 9 , this is this folder on the desktop by default.
The folder with a name of "Root folder" on it.
The path is " /root "

When i Dbl Click on it, it doesnt response !
