helped? Im kinda curious too if it's possible, those are some quick links i pulled up, maybe they'll help.
the only way i can think of possibly recovering something deleted is if you can reconstruct the FAT (file allocation tables) for the card. One program i think can do this (as long as you havn't written anything on the card) is norton unerase. I have used it to scan my "free space" for recoverable files...
it is possible to recreate date by using a hex editor. It is not easy but it can be done.

Solid state, flash memory, it's not feasible or practical, it doesn't store data like a disk.
Hi, in theory you can, because flash media is no different from any other media. You don' actually delete the data, just mark the space as available.
If it is a digital camera, or card reader you shold have software on the CD that will do it.
What sort of device is it?
