Ever since I heard about wireless DVD players, I've had quite a few concerns about the security involved with them.
I searched around trying to find anything related to networks being compromised because of the DVD players. I found nothing but a link to a site that was selling 802.11b (doh!) DVD players. Most Wireless players are 802.11g and from what I've read, setup is a breeze. So wouldn't that possibly leave security holes?
Does anybody have the pleasure of having a wireless dvd player? If so, got any input?
Also, since the dvd player communicates w/ the network, couldn't a dvd possibly run code to make a backdoor into the network?
thx
