www.linuxiso.org should have something.
Have you looked into Fedora? The... uhhh... New RedHat....
I believe Redhat 9.0 was that last version. Just go to their website, it should all still be there.
the problem i have that is that the best tutorial are concentrated on red hat and every other distro has non standard file system layout.... except debian which is too slow... how different is fedora
Or that you just don't know how to use it, and it takes you so long just to get into GUI mode. That is why it seems so slow to you.. :DQuote:

There's no longer support for redhat anymore? Wow, that's new's to me. I never knew that. I experimented with it once or twice (mostly on my buddies network) and it seemed like a fairly stable, reliable OS.
They found out that they made a lot more money with their corporate products and decided to focus on those.Quote:
