Spyware Site list
Anyone know of a place to get a text list of known spyware infecting sites? I have a proxy server and can use the list to block the sites, just having a problem finding a good list of adware/spyware. I've seen the host lists, but trying to clean them up, removing the 127.0.0.1 addresses is too tedious. I may be able to use without clieaning, but haven't tried (squid proxy server).

Go to http://grc.com/oo/spyware.htm This will put you on opt out-list of known spyware.

The other site I gave you may not work for you. Go to Google Search and put in Don Davidson's Computer. The spyware and adware list is the 2nd down. Also, not all spy ware and adware is known. There are about three new companies a week opening up.

Thanks, that was a big help....I'm trying to keep as much out of the company as possible, the employees seem to be masters at finding sites infected with spyware...

Check out the postings this guy puts on spywarewarrior.com - he maintains a list on a regular basis. It has been a HUGE help when researching items we find.

You can also keep your clients HOSTS file updated with a list from this location: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002
Good luck at your spyware battle...it's been tough for us at my company. :killcompu :3pow: ::hide-beh
