i bet most of you know about HDC (hackers.com) i was wornding if any one knows what happened to it i went of vacation for a week and when i got back i went to check on a cuple of threads i posted befor i left and HDC was no longer a site i was wornding if any one had any information on why it went down for good this time i mean thats ware i started learning about computers when i was 9 a long time ago thats just why i was wornding its weird it wend down after so long to i heard it was around since the mid 80s.

Since no one posted ;) HDC has been gone and is gone (AFAIK). I heard they have a site that has a message board but I'm not too sure. I wasn't a frequent enough visitor to care anyways.

Ranger was either too busy or too lazy (more than likely the latter) and simply sucked at adminning the site. So he had ad0re do all the work, and she SUCKED at admining worse than him. Everyone who actually knew anything thought that they were the worst admins ever. And they gave up I guess... There are quite a few former members floating around various boards, you could probably find them if you google for their handle... BTW spydey HDC has been down about 8 or 9 months now, and is probably not coming back as the domain is for sale (we are talking BIG sale... I think ranger is trying to get someone like symantec to buy it...) The price is somewhere around $200,000 from what I hear...

I loved HDC!! It even had a phreaking section. The members were awesome too.

yea i know the domain is for sale and that is has been down for a long time i did not know he was selling it for such big money thow i will have to find out if that is correct.
