dialer on my system
Hi everybody
i have installed win xp on my system
and during i was configuring it
i downloaded also some patches and surfed the internet
and off course i also crossed some porn sites when i was looking for patches
one site has replaced my startup page from IE
i have zonealarm as firewall but i haven't configured it yet as i wanted it
and i didn't install a antivirus before i surfed the internet (i know stupid)
but is there a way to find this dialer because i thought i found it under software in windows
removed it restarted my pc but again same startup page in IE
Can anyone help me?

To be a bit of help.. if you do a scan of the Spyware/Adware forum.. you will see a very common theme..
Adaware se v1.05 (run the update then scan)
Spybot S&D v1.3.1 (as above run the update then scan)
Then
do a scann with Hijackthis...but don't touch a thing..yet
have a read in the Spyware adware forum.. plent of tutorials of removal.. I would recommend this one.. it is a PDf (acrobat file)
