Blackcode users,
We’ve recently been experiencing server outages due to a denial of service attack. Instead of keeping Blackcode online, we decided it best for a short while to take Blackcode offline while we think of possible solutions to this small problem.
We’ve sorted this problem temporarily.
The current attack involves a botnet creating mass connections to our httpd on port 80, requesting our most resourceful scripts – the forums. Therefore, we decided to take the forums offline to allow the rest of the site to recoup.
We’re currently developing several anti-flood scripts which will be implemented over the next few days.
We would like to thank all of our users for sticking with us over these temperamental times, your patients is appreciated!
Regards,
Blackcode Staff
thank you
Thank you for this info.Quote:
Do you (or anyone else here) know when Blackcode will be accessible again?
I had an email account with them--Are all my emails now lost?
Thank you in advance for your reply(ies)

Why don't you just send an email to the Administrative staff there. They'd be the one's whom would be able to answer that question..Quote:

Probably never, if a site does not recover within a couple of weeks it is a safe bet that it is gone for good.Quote:

Yes, I think that would be a very safe bet. When a site like that goes it doesn't leave a forwarding address, so there would be no point in retaining such data.Quote:

A much needed improvement to the intardnet as a whole, IMHO.Quote:
