IIRC, Build-to-Learn is one place to get free webspace, php and mysql without banner ads. :)
www.freewebs.com. is awesome. 40MB of space ,the only thing you have to do is put a small table that says that your page is hosted by them and no ads at all. Good luck!
www.freespaces.com is awesome and one that i use.
