Help needed immidiately
Hi All
I've got major problem.
I runned an exe file downloaded from thenet on 98 OS.
What the file did is that it changed the file extension opening of exe files from executable to an application named lsass.exe
Now i deleted that file after changing the attributes.
From that point onwards the exe applications are not running and ask for the lsass.exe file.
When i viewed the file options in folder options the "application" extension were not changeable in windows 98.
Please help me out on how to change and coorect the problem.
Thanx

Ok. Just to get clarification: Did you delete the lsass.exe file?

Hi
Yes i deleted the file.
I was suspected towards the file as it kept itself enabled in the startup items even if i disable it. Also it kept changing the option to show all files when i disable it from folder options.
As i have two os other being xp i searched for the file name and found one in xp.
Please help me.
Thanx
