30 Kilos of motor oil and 30 kilos of plutonium aren't the same. :) One Gallon of Uranium wieghts 152 pounds or so (depending on the isotope). 1 kilo is 2.2 pounds. So 30 kilos of something is 66 pounds (2.2 x 30). I guess they lost less than half a gallon "on paper"?? 30 kilos of motor oil is... I would have to weigh a quart and see. :) wait I have google!! The shipping weight of SAE 10w-30 is 2.1 pounds. Let's just call it 1 quart for each kilo so that would be 30 quarts approx. Do the gallon conversion and 30 kilos of motor oil is: 7.5 gallons. 15 times the amount of the same weight in Unranium. Yes I had wayyyyyyy to much coffee today. :D

Remember that this is a fast breeder reactor, so works on CALCULATED as well as MEASURED yields?..............naturally one might expect a small difference between the two. This seems like typical "gutter press journalism"............there were no percentages, just a raw value?
