windows protection error

When I boot up my pc an error came up.... it says like this....


WHILE INITIALIZING DEVICE NDIS:
Windows Protection Error.
Need to restart your computer. :o

t will be of help, if you can tell about version of windows you are using...

for windows 98, here is solution availabe on micrsoft website:
