UPS Connect (united parcel service)

Hi there

I have one site with a SBS 2000 server, ISA 2000 and a dlink 604 which I need to open ports for the UPS Connect software to automatically upload\download updates and dayend info from\to the UPS site.

I have contacted UPS and they said they have no documentation

Reply to my request for documentation on protocols and\or service ports to be opened on the firewalls

Now we cannot be the first people to have enabled this service from behind a firewall...can we :(

I was wondering if anyone has done this an is aware of the ports needed???

I did google...but all matches are for U niterruptable P ower S upplies

and have searched the UPS.com site to no avail

If you run the UPS software then run this application.... http://www.foundstone.com/index.htm?...desc/fport.htm yu should then be able to see which ports it is using... this should work... any probs let me know

Fport looks to be a useful little application, however when running the executable it just opens for a flash and then closes the dialog box. Anyone else have this issue?

Open command

fport > C:\fport.txt

this will put into a text format at the root of c:\

You don't have to redirect, it will stay on screen when you use the command prompt. Also, if you use the /K switch then the window won't close automatically.... ;)
