Now there's a concept. When you look at today's Tour de France, I find it doesn't have the same "awe inspiring" view compared to when they did it around the turn of the century. Given that back then it was just mano-a-mano rather than team-a-team (and the teams were centered around a specific rider rather than it being the "best of the best"). I was rather shocked to hear that teams have up to 10 support cars (only two allowed on the course at any time). These cars carry doctors, coaches, specialists, etc.
