I was wondering if anyone could share any good ideas about advertising your website online. I hear all about ezines, blogs, email spamming opt in email list, ect They were never to clear on how to do it. For example mail spamming they tell you the program to use and say you can download a program that makes your ip the smtp so you can send the emails. I always get an error though. Thanks
Get people to pimp your site by advertising it in their forum signatures.
Basically what I do with Unerror. Of course, not everyone has the almost cult following that I have, so your results may vary.
Google ads also works well in some cases.
WTF! you do make it easy, don't you?
1. What sort of website is it/what does it do?
2. How big an area are you trying to cover?
For example we don't know if you are a cattle breeders' stud farm or a rock band publicity site? :D
All I can say at this stage is DO NOT SPAM ................selective marketing techniques are far more effective.

that's what I did..
Also adding good content to your site and referring people to it is a good 'trick'..
If your site has:
A. Good content.
B. Good looks.
People will make a return visit and perhaps bring some friends allong..
