AVG Free for Linux
AVG have released a version of its free AV product for Linux.
See: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/21/lng/us/tpl/v5
I had a look through the user manual, seems fairly easy to use for the basic functionality (even has the GUI) but if you want to set up on-access scanning it gets a lot more difficult.
Infact the manual is not that clear on this stuff because it mentions setting up on access scanning for Linux email server machines which confused me a bit because that is a different AVG version altogether.
I have attached the user manual for those interested, I think I might have a bit of a play with it but might leave out implementing the on-access scanning for now as I am not confident enough in my Linux skills.

I can't test it..
Only personal machines are slackware and freebsd..
I have a SuSE box under my care, but that's a corporate machine..
I'll try and see if I can 'alien' one of the rpm's and test on this slack box..
For mail I'll keep using clamav.. It's free (as in speech) and works !!
