What OS are you running...
There are some great tools out there...that clear cookies, temp files and history...
The MS anti spyware is free and has that feature
You can never REALLY clear them...and can be found if someone REALLY wanted too
.dat files
MLF
A good utility for cleaning out all sorts of crap is Ccleaner .....
If you are having browser problems, you can getSpywareblaster which will protect your browser during your surfing....
As mentioned by MLF Microsoft Antispyware Beta is an excellant tool for protecting you and cleaning out unwanted stuff...Microsoft Antispyware Beta ...
you can remove them by going out and actually paying for porn :)
First, stop visiting porn sites.Quote:

Second, if its firefox, Tools>Clear Private Data
Third, if its IE, Tools>Internet Options
---click on Delete Cookies, Delete Files, Clear History
---or download some of THESE internet cleaning utility.
Fourth, stop visiting porn sites again
Fifth, have an antivirus and antivirus utility with an ontime scanner to protect yourself from dialers, browser hijackers, etc. from installing itself.
There is one question that comes to mind, though I can't bring myself to ask it. But it involves honesty.
Sometimes, you can be too honest. A friend of mine once admitted to lying on his arm till it went numb, to see if it really did feel like someone else......
Ok, enough of that.
Simple, if you are using internet explorer, go to tools - internet options - delete cookies.
then delete files, and check the offline option.
then click clear history.
If you want to be a little security concious, you can do the following also, but it is not necessary, and will clear passwords and stuff, so make sure you know all your passwords to stuff like hotmail, yahoo, antilonline etc, if you let your pc remember them.
go to the content tab and click autocomplete - clear forms and clear passwords.
If you run Mozilla,
Edit - Preferences - Navigator - History directory - clear history and clear location bar
Then Privacy and security - cookies - click cookie manager - remove cookies and on the other tab too.
Then go to advanced - cache and clear cache.
That should clear all traces, and is something I do if I know someone else is going to use my pc. I view a pc a bit like a second mind, in that there are things that you don't want others to know... you have to keep some mystery otherwise peeps get bored if you give em the lot right there.
happy whacking
