My personal recommendation would be yes, as any and every bit of information in the security/computer world is important and vital. However, I have found astalavista to be a bit dodgy sometimes... blah, regardless.. I'd definitely signup for the portal.

quite funny to know a security portal like that has lack defense at all!
and im agree with the anti-sec group that the site is more to getting money. Anyone can see tha p0rn banner on that site before it was deleted by the anti-sec.
