I'm trying to load slackware.com and slackware.org and neither loads. Anyone else? Anyone know what's going on?
I'm trying to remember what you do to open up permissions on the sound card and I can't recall what it was. Which si when i went to the web site to find it down. I'm pretty sure it's /dev/dsp* and /dev/mixer* but I'm not positive.

well i'm able to pickup the slackware.com site, it's a little slow but it's letting me connect to the site.
maybe there doing something with the server or something.?

Doesn't work for me either.. Gore, have you tried searching through Slackware's site on Google, and the viewing the cached page? That might work in the meantime..
They might be doing a server update? Although they would probably swap servers for that in the meantime..
They only have one though. So swapping servers doesn't happen. Slackware is ran off a Pentium 3 with 512 RAM and a T1. It's a single box.

I just tried from the UK and they both timed out :(
