Frustrated

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the following atmclk.exe and dcomcfg.exe.

I have tried all kinds of spyware removal. it just keeps coming back. Ive debugged smss and its still here. I cannot stop it in task manager and it is not listed in services.

Its me again.......forgot to mention that I run win xp firewall..AVG free and Ewido security suite. Ihave also scanned with spybot and prevx. prevx stops it ,,,but it just keeeps on coming, until its loaded so many times..pc crashes..

Try cleaning in safe mode

...and turn off system restore....until you have cleaned it

Actually, Joss, I went though some nightmarish stuff with dcomcfg recently. If you visit my blog you'll see a post (rather lengthy) that is the instructions from CastleCops on how to truly get rid of this stuff. Very effective (albeit takes a bit of time).
