Yeah.. noticed yesterday..
Updated my 'home' server..
Some nice changes.. I realy like the bind+dhcpd replacement ( dnsmasq ) for easy LAN routing.
What's up with the 6 CDs? I haven't downloaded it yet because it's storming and I'm not sure if I should start to yet if I have to shut machines down.
gore, get the dvd builds?
i haven't looked but is it really 6 cd's? or are cd's like 4-6 the sources cd's that you really don't need?
From what I see the other CDs seem to be sources and things, I finished downloading them all and burning them and I think that is it.
So anyone who's got limited bandwidth, I'd say get at least the first 3 or 4. That way You have options open if You want extras too.
But for the installation only the first 2 are needed.
yah i never bothered downloading the sources.
a trusted guy in irc.freenode.net ##slackware used to host updated -current dvd builds.
it was really nice, not sure if he does anymore.
it was on a speedy virginia tech mirror too.
