A little Help

Hi everyone

Just a quick Q. Sometimes when i try log into AO it gives me the verification that I am logged in with the screen comming up but then takes me back to the same page I was on (noramlly Homepage) and Shows I am not logged in. But other times, like now it goes through.

Any1 got any theories.

Dump all cookies and offline content. That should clear it up. If it doesn't tell us which browser you're using and if you have cookies enabled for the site. Thanks

Nope doesnt work. Dumped all my offline content. I struggles for 10 mins trying to reply to this post.

Im using IE7. Still trying to find out where cookies setup is.

Hmm, well I can't test with IE7, but make sure cookies are allowed for this site (once you find that setting) and make sure you check "remember me" before you log in.

OK thanks. Does anyone know where the option in IE7 is to check/see for cookies etc.

I will respond to your PM............... I was about to, when this box crashed............ I had to hit the power supply with a rubber mallet :D it starts the fan............... otherwise she overheats and switches off.................... trust me, I am a hardware guru :D

Wow that prog actually does wonders. I have freed up to a gig on my windows drive. Computer runs abit more smoother. THat program also has uninstall features for my programs and I cleared a few :P

im sort of having the same problem. mine redirects me but after a little while, after i go to another page, displays no info of me being logged in. the user name password box sits in its place. what could this possibly be from?

ps.

i frequently clear my private data. in fact every time i close Firefox. i also run the windows advanced care program from time to time. so my cache stays pretty much empty and cookies are frequently deleted, as well as browsing history and any temporary files. i also run the ccleaner too as well as free ram xp pro.
