Eye resolution
I was just thinking the other day... I know that what the average human sees out of their eyes cant really be measured in pixels directly, but what if you could? Im pretty sure the resolution would be insane, somewhere in the millions. And what if, some morning, you woke up and you saw everything in 640X480 (driver error, maybe)? Just a thought.  :) :drink:

haha isnt that called tunnel vision?
-
Hehe.. all people have some sort of tunnel vision. For the most part the eye actually 'sees' a bit blurry, lower resolution if you will. There's one spot that has a bit higher resolution, it 'sees' a sharper image. Your eyes are constantly moving around and your brain combines this into a complete picture. Hence, the overall resolution of your eyes is hard to pin down.

and its wierd too. If you consider a rod or cone to be a pixel, there are less actual nerves than "pixels". Each nerve to your brain actually connects several cones/rods. Worse of course any number will be an average. People with bigger eyes will see more "pixels" (maybe).
