You're looking for a way to detect if the computer has the software installed?
Randomly pick 10 computers, 9 of them should have the sybase driver.
I'm sure you can then find where it was saved to?
Fire up filemon and regmon. Run the program that uses the driver and the location of the driver should then be in the filemon/regmon logs.
Do you have any workstation auditing software? If so, look there.
Do you run logon scripts? If so, write a script to look for specific files or registry keys and then write to a log file the computer name...

Sorry my mind was processing to many things, I have a couple computers using the Sybase ASE driver, but can't find the original install. I need to install it on 1 more system. I know it was discontinued, so I was asking if there was an alternative.
I found the Sybase PowerBuilder 7 (is it built-in?)
