This is sick, there is a new scam purporting to show cellphone footage of the massacre.
Hard to call who is the sickest, the scammers or the ghouls who fall for it :fpissed:

People love to watch gory stuff, why do you think a car crash causes traffic jams on both sides of the interstate [at least in the US that is]... it reminds me of the spectacles right before the fall of the Roman Empire. There are so many sites that specialize in these kind of subjects, real pictures of human suffering. Also full length motion pictures of people being brutalized. faces of death etc. ... Nihil, are things like this as prevalent in the UK as in the US? ... it is indeed sickening... The fact that it is so appealing to certain people that it can be turned into a scam makes it that much worse... I find it hard to feel sorry for the people that fall victim to this. Just my $0.02...
Hi westin,
I am afraid they are.............. the traffic jams thing certainly is :(Quote:

The link I posted was to a UK site as well..........................
Sick to profit from it, definitely. But if so many across the world are compelled to 'rubberneck' (local term) along the highway near a crash then is that in and of itself so sick or is it just a quirk of society in general. With only information about the trend from across the pond and the US that makes it so far a Western-only thing, anybody from other parts of Europe care to weigh in on people gawking at car accidents and the like?
The stupid thing is that i'm a into this type of gourish type of stuff, that if i happened to got sent the link i'd most likely click it so that i could see the video. :D
*Not*
People these days watch too much TV :(
