Windows Program Blocker
Hi!
I have one big problem. I can install program but I cannot start it.
It was blocked by windows. (You know that window that asking for "Allow, not allow, ask next time") then it was chosen "not allow" alternative
This program is Firefox.
Is it some way to Allow it again?
OS is: Windows XP Home
Computer: HP

Hi,
I don't have XP Home, just the professional version, and I haven't seen that. I know that Vista has a security feature along those lines, but not XP Home?
I get that question from my firewall and other security software, but not from Windows.
Boot into safe mode with administrator rights, and see if you can launch FF as an offline application.
Also, logged in as administrator, try to start it, and allow it to open when the prompt window pops up.
Are you running Internet Explorer 7 by any chance? :D
Basically, if it will start in safe mode then the problem is with some third party security software.
Please let me know what happens, and we can take it from there :)
It could be a permissions issue?

Well...you could always remove the program....reboot and then reinstall the program...and when what ever is blocking it asks you ......allow it.

I did reinstall few times.
I think that it is blocked by its ID some where in register file, by same way as SpyBot imunize function works.
It is become like untrusted program.

Try creating another profile with Admin rights and running it from that.
