If you've made changes in your bios that affects how your hard drive is detected or changed to a different hard drive this could be the cause. either changing the bios settings back to the origional settings or booting to the cd and going into the recovery consol and running "chkdsk" might fix the issue.
Remove the floppy that's in drive A: :rolleyes:
Last time I saw that error it was an HDD boot sector corruption.
Have you recently played around with dual-booting your machine?
In any case, you've got problems. Booting from a CD is going to be your most likely recourse.

I have the same problem, if i boot with the windows cd i can load the OS, but i i don't i got the message: NTLDR is missing, i tried fixboot and fixmbr but nothing.
Right now i'm trying the link la'trina posted.
git means boot loader of window xp is gone,so search it for on goole
