Hi Nihil! long time no speak and thanks for the info people using this need to be aware.
is this vuln being actively exploited? Although a hole is a hole most hacking is a numbers game and this hardly seems worth the time of a decent hacker and according to the advisory this company has a record of patching holes quickly IMHO, but i've become pretty stu-pit lately.
ill try and re-sign up at gov-sec and a few other sites and see if anyones done anything with it.
welcome back Ted. I see you didn't get the e-mail I sent? Seeing as how you registered a new account
thanks for the reply jp and maybe im really still pretty stupid but i dont see a reminder. ive just replied to you email
ps your quote is all TOO close to home and all too true but very funny
Hi Ted0b1,
They seem to have fixed it already:
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rea...own_reader.htm
I haven't heard of anyone getting caught by it, but I know that several members use it rather than Adobe.
I guess you would still have to go to a malicious site and use the software.
including myself.:cool:Quote:
