That would depend on how late term the procedure is permitted. Prior to viability (which is considered to be 24 weeks over here) it would be "foeticide".

"Foeticide" is commonly referred to as "abortion" but this is incorrect. "Abortion" is the termination of a pregnancy without the intention that the child survives, irrespective of the term's progress. "Infanticide" is a very specialist term applying to particular circumstances............ otherwise it's just plain manslaughter or murder.

I guess sometime soon some parents are going to get the message that in spite of faith driven upbringing and abstinence only sex education that even perfectly good kids will let the hormones get the better of them and have sex.
