I'm looking to setup a solution in my office to be able to alert me (preferable by email) for any rogue access point that comes online in my network. Basically I'm worried that employees could plug in a wireless router to the network and I wouldn't know of it. I've looked into using airsnare (doesn't work good), netstumbler (has no alerting system), and wifi manager.
Please let me know if anyone has any solution they have implement to defend against this threat. All input and suggestions are welcomed. Thanks
Since I work for a small company, the solution would need to be open source.

Simplest solution? Disable *all* unused network ports/outlets.
And have a look at kismet, it might do at least parts..
