I have a quick question. A customer of mine hasproblem is he took the machine down to the Apple Store and they said it needed a new Hard drive and he also wanted to do data migration (get old files off of system and back it up to external hard drive). They said they don't do that. Anyways, I just ran a "Apple Hardware" test and it came back no problems found saying everything was fine. Anyways, the client had MacKeeper on system and a virus. I got rid of them with ESET NOD32.Quote:
Macbook Pro:
(13 inch, late 2011)
2.4 Ghz intel Core i5
Memory 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel GD Graphics 3000 384
The client wants me to back up ALL DATA on his system, reformat the machine and re-install OSX Yosemite v.10.10 ALL Data is backed up to to MAC PASS PORT external Hard Drive. This Macbook did not come with any installation cd's is there a sequence I can hit at startup to access his partitiion on drive. Or do I have to go to the APP store and download an OSX to external hard drive to do this? Last question: The memory here how can I fix it without purchasing more memory any services/features to disable?? All help is greatly appreciated.. do you guys think he needs new hard drive or just backup all data reformat it and reinstall yosemite 10.10 Thanks,
