I know it's not monday, but it feels like it. Yesterday was Memorial Day in the States, so I was Barbequeing instead of posting (I heard that sigh of relief). Here we go:
In spirit of the Harry Potter release to DVD today;
If you could have a single magical power, what would it be?
YAY! Another question of the week....I love these!
Most useful one would be like Samantha on "Bewitched" : being able to wiggle my nose and get ALL the housework done...lol.
But if I got to choose one just for fun...it would be teleportation...being able to just BE wherever I thought about being...takes care of all that traffic and traveling in the car for a long way with kids!

I'm agreeing with Deb on the teleportation. Being anywhere at anytime would be awesome, and no waiting at the airport for 3 hours for security checks.
Telekinesis would be pretty sweet, too. Get stuff I can't reach, move stuff outta my way, and make that annoying guy in front of me get off his cell phone -- permanently -- and drive.
Do you mean magical, or supernatural? I think the ability to control electricty could be quite interesting.....Just think of the hacks you could do then...
i think i would like the ability to cast a spell similar to the "ultima" spell in final fantasy III and just wipe out everything around me. throwing an energy ball would be fun too.
Not sure if it fits under the "magical" category or just "supernatural" - but mind reading would be nice...
Second to that, it'd have to be invisibility or teleportation, though.
Whoever wanted to be invisible just wants to look at people naked all the time. I wish I had the power to raise the IQ of any Forums on the net with the snap of a finger......
Honestly though, I think invisible w/ teleportation would be cool. Think of all the banks you could rob.

Ahhhh....... to control the minds of others....but I have a rough time controlling my own thoughts so that seem a bit far fetched uh :)

Well, if I had the option given to me to pick any supernatural power, I would have none of it. Im happy being normal.
If I was supernatural in any way, I would probably consider myself superiour to those around me, and unintentionally isolate myself from them. Like consider if you could read minds and manipulate those around you as if they were stuffed animals. They would be nothing more than tools to you. You would isolate yourself. Isolation would suck.
Hmmm, ok, if I was going to choose a power then, it would have to be something that would just make things just a bit more interesting, not to the extremity that you were a god or something. Like maybe being able to shoot fireballs from the palms of my hands, I dont think that would be to extreame...

Not time travel, but the ability to take one second and move and exists within it as if it was a year or longer, or shorter without other perceiving of this. For example when deadline are set not worrying about them because I would be able to do the volume of work I could in a year in a single second. As only myself could perceive this stretching of time for everyone else it would appear just a second has passed though this might lead to slight isolation in that the use this with other present you would have to be wary, for example stretching time so that you could travel you would have to ensure that you returned or other would perceive you had just vanished, this might lead to questions. Hmmm well I have had a hard time choosing, moving through time sounds good, but so does the teleportation. I'd like to fly but am afraid of heights, perhaps a small problem. I guess in the end if I couldn't have it all I'd choose teleportation, I am not a patient person and lineups drive me!
