Um funny question. . .you weren't very explicit w what type of vg, but Imma have to go w/ Arcade, baby yeah!!!! The Best All Time Game, don't give a **** what anybody else thinks, is the original Mario Bros. game, talk about a time waister, that game rocks. . .and I'm not talking about the N8bit version, I'm talkin' bout the stand up, put yer quarter in the slot, w/ the Fuxin' POW box. . .yeah, if yer talkin' home version console stuff, Atari's joust, all the games now and days r kewl, don't get me wrong, I've got quite a few fav's, but they're all a rehash. . .limited. . .gotta go off the other guy.

mario bros is a $|-|1T hot game but sadly only played it for the nintendo but still a good game cheers for the feed back maybe some greenies hedding u r way:-)

street fighter not the original with just ken and ryu the next version. i had the who game worked out when i was like 10yo. no 1 could beet me....so they would stick $1 coins in and get 3 gredits to challange me and i would make the game turn off / rebbout with guile. the cheat moves were

#key# ( joystick back = < ) and so on...

1. freeze guile against chung lee and vega or n e 1 . < > < heavey kick

2. once move 1 is compleeted u can freeeeze you oponant by holding donw then pushing up ^ and hiting medeum punch and kick together. caution!!!!! if u dont unfreeze them b 4 the time runs out the game will be ****ed and just hang like that until it is turned off manualy. to unfreeze hold back < then rolling the joystick in a circular motion down and arround back to its original back position < and pressing heavy kick and heavy punch at the same time will turn the game off/ reboot . to unfrezzze them b 4 time runs out u can do an ivisable thow. (see bellow. move 4. )
( this freeze can aloso be done free standing)

3. free standing turn the game off / reboot... hold down then push the joystick up ^ and pressing heavy kick and punch at the same time.

4. invisable throw. vs chung lee works best but can be done against any oponant. walk back to the left hand side wall and hold the joystick back. then chung lee will attempt to jump over u. as she does u will be holding the joystick in the < back position and then > < and heave punch and heavy kick together will thow them withough u actualy laying a finger on them. if u r skilled enough like me. u can string 4 invisable thouws together to take their life from full power to nil and win a perfect match...i can still here it now .... "perfect" .... lol them were the days...not a care in the world...

I noticed alot of people had Blizzard games up there (ie Diablo, WarCraft, StarCraft) And I was wondering, I am sure you have all seen the screen shots of WarCraft3 , and if not, www.blizzard.com , and I was wondering if a StarCraft 2 was created, would you want the same 3D Graphics/Heros/Screen Zooming as being used in WarCraft3?

i'm quite outdated when it comes to games (my windows pc has always been low-priority, and i don't really install much in the way of entertainment or leisure on my linux boxes), but here goes...

strategy: age of empires (the first one... yeah, i know its microsoft, but i like to think that the developers are trapped into an unholy alliance with them. good game nonetheless, and allows us to build custom scenarios and campaigns in the ancient times). freeciv (civilization clone) on linux took away lots of my time as well. syndicate on win.

action: ummm... wolfenstein3d and the doom series! i'm also getting slowly addicted to counterstrike...
console (e.g. ps, nintendo, etc.): my all time favourite may have to be an ancient game called legend of kage. i found a rom for it last year (after not playing it for a decade) and i had to finish it many many many many times in the same game before i got sick of it. the desert strike / jungle strike / urban strike series.
console (e.g. just a normal terminal window): muds etc... a site called avp (avp.dhs.org) and a defunct mud called dragon realms (there are two, the one i used to play in is the defunct one).
flight sims: tfx. the old jet-fighter series.
space sims: privateer (unfortunately i never got to play the wing commander series), tie fighter.

Vidoegames happens to be my other way to waste time when I'm not on the internet, I have actually have over $1500 invested in my gaming habbit, and im not even going to imagine how much into computers.

Well I like to play Red Alert on my PC. Im not into games that much any more. :( I just don't have time to play games with school and work.

Ah yes! I remember video games! They're those programs that ate up about 5 hours a day until I just couldn't "hack" it anymore. :)


It's been a while, but the last game I saw, bought, and conquered was Diablo II.

Before that was Doom, StarCraft, Dark Reign, Rainbow Six, Age of Empires, Sim City, and a whole kit-and-kaboodle of Star Wars.

If I had to pick a favorite out of all of them, I guess it would have to be Dark Reign. It was the only one I went though over and over again... Then I just got sick of it. :)

Elite :- the game rocked, and i spent 100's of hours playing it.
Descent I & II :- i think a very under estimated game, and again a massive consumer of my time
Doom :- Nuff said
Quake :- Loved it
Half life :- only just got it, and it's already threatening my social life.
also Civ 2 & Alpha Centauri :- these 2 variations on a theme kept me up to 4 in the morning on work nights

no idea what my favorite of all time would be. i have played way too many games in my time. but for the last year or so i have devoted my time and energy into unreal tournament. that game is by far the most fun i have had in a while. i really enjoy the matrix moves mutator and only play on servers that run it. there is nothing more satisfying than running up a wall after an oppenent with a shock rifle.

well here goes, if i must say, the clancy series of games, but its so much better to be holding an M16A2 with 30 caliber rounds less than 6 inches from your head, chucking a live grenade around a corner, picking things off from 200 meters away. no video game ive ever played comes anywhere close to the rush of that, hell no video game ive ever played even has long range encounters like that.

Like I said, I have so many favorites. I'm a gamer all out....Video games are more reliable that guys. When you don't want to play with them anymore, you can just turn them off, and they're there to turn on whenever you need them. They are interactive, and if you push all the right buttons, you might just score. If you don't like the way things are going, there's a directional pad for your convienience, help to lead them in the right direction. And video games never complain. Heh.....think about it.

I have a neighbor that is a electrical whiz in my book he has on of thoes mario bros arcade games in his basement. his kids love it!

I dont have a favorite game there are good things about most of them but I did get a charge off of sneaking up on unsuspecting guards and thwacking them on the head with a blackjack in Theif.

also a good addictive game to check out is EQ but have to pay for the service.

Hmm....mine would be Final Fantasy(everyone) Diablo II, Squaresoft games, Chronotrigger, Maxpayne, all MegaMans, and SSX.....So many, I cant't decide.
