Hey all, i was wondering what's everyones favorite food, drink, and music they like the most when cruzin AO, coding, or just surfing the net? Mine is:
pizza (any kind)
mountain dew
and very fast and very loud techno (helps me concentrate when its faster and louder) :p

I like coffee, and lots of it.
As for food, I do not eat in the computer room.
Chinese food and classical(usually Bach or Mozart) when coding.
Pizza and trance(Paul Van Dyk) when surfing.
Some kind of pasta when gaming (no music.. Need to hear EVERYTHING!).
Water is my drink of choice.

water, Barq's and ramen for just about anything I need to do. For codeing I'm all about ambient stuff, for gameing and surfing I'll pop in a Rammstein CD.
I don't usually eat around my computer, but if so its normally something like pizza or a sandwich of some sort, and dr pepper is my beverage of choice, or sometimes iced tea. As for music, I normally just pick a 135+/- mp3 playlist and let it run, right now, my current list has about 63 songs to cycle through, with evertything from metal, folk, techno, and occasinally some george clinton!

You people are pathetic. I drink a hacker's fav. drink..... r00tbeer. lol.. I can have almost everything while surfing or whatever but preferably, ramons and pepsi. I dunno, whatever is there I guess.
Ahh yes, jolt! good ole jolt, keeps yah ticking into the wee hours of the morning!! gotta love that stuff! Makes you a little shaky after a 12 pack of them in 4 hours lol!
Humm no food or drink in the computer room but since I am without one now LOL. Depends upon the time of day moring Coffee, lots, mid day usually water or green tea, evenings if I snack at the computer, maybe home smoked salmon s sip of wine cheese. Sorry other passion is cooking I eat well. As far as music am older and don't listen to much new stuff, far range from classic to Stevie Ray Vaughn, other old timers like Bill Miller, may put on a bit of Paul Horn now and then, a few Native American Indian Flute players, Rober Mirabal, humm eat and snak when I do usually not at the computer like the social aspects of sharing food with people as well as the music. Usually like my mind clear :)
Generally, for drinking, I either drink Starbucks coffee (in the morning), water (most of the day), Coca Cola (on occassion) and usually some sort of virgin mixed drink at night (virgin mudslide or something... depends on what mood I'm in; I would drink it regular, but I hate the taste of alcohol).
As for food, pretty much whatever I can get my hands on. :)
Music: I listen to pretty much anything. I have all of my 283 CDs copied to a network share, so my playlist is just a random assortment of those songs.

Drink: Depends on what I'm doing. I'm usually surfing AO at work, so I'm stuck with Iced Tea. If I'm at home and I'm chatting/pr0n surfing...it's usually beer.
Food: Definately cold pizza...nothing is better than refrigerated slices in the morning.
Music: Depends on the mood. Mostly heavy metal (motorhead, pantera), sometimes Barenaked Ladies.
When I am at home I drink whatever looks good when I open the fridge and never eat around my computer. I do not listen to music while gaming, but any other time I am prone to turn on my D-Link USB Radio and listen to my favorite radio station which plays all the newest rock/alternative music.
When I am at work, I drink mostly water or coke and only occasionally eat breakfast or lunch at my desk. As for the music I listen to, we have an MP3 server set up with 10k+ MP3s and I have em all on shuffle! Being a desktop technician rules! Where else can you veg in front of a computer all day and get payed for it! hehe...
-Sour Patch Kids& Mountain Dew- AMP or Sobe Adrenaline (as for music.... depends on what I'm in the mood for.... Could be some ColdPlay or maybe Linkin Park, Disturbed, Papa Roach, or maybe some DMX, Ja Rule, NAS.... )

i dont usually eat around the computer but when I do it is Ramen, Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Music is 96.1 KIIS FM, or my MP3 collection.
Jolt is so old school... Now there is AMP, Adrenaline, 180, Red Bull, venom = (yuck)...Quote:

Yea avdven that stuff is really good, i also like sobe's green tea, that stuff is goooooood! or sobe's new soda, Mr. Green kinda tastes like Dr. pepper to me
computer food is always junk food!!!! FUNYUNS!!!!!
Chocolate is also a yummy munch, doesn't matter what you're drinking as long as the eats are good!
I eat almost anything, but I like pizza, mousaka, lasagna most. Drinking doesn't matter as long as there is lots of sugar in it :p. Lately I almost don't drink/eat because the distance pc-fridge is about twice as long as it used to be.
Music: anything. Preferably heavy-metal at this moment, but it's currently the sound of cars passing my window. ...mmm let's go do something about that...:)
I like to eat pizza and to drink some cold beer while surfing in the evening.
My favourite music at the moment is "Die gute Seite" von den Sportfreunden Stiller
(Im sure nobody knows them but there was one whos listening to Rammstein ;) ).
I also like Drum & Bass or bands like The Cranberries.
I can get a small pizza on my meal card at school. So I usually grab one of those at like midnight, get a 6 pack of root beer, throw in some classical music and code. Unless I'm gaming and then I don't listen to any music.

drink: coffee in the morn and afternoon. scotch in the evening. ;) at work, coffee and coke (not at the same time) although mixing pepsi and instant coffee yields some interesting, if not volatile results.
music: punk (DK, propaghandi), dub (king tubby, lee perry), bop (jack kerouac, dizzy), industrial (einsterzende neubauten, skinny puppy, monte cazzaza) depending on mood. none while gaming, depending on game (civilization doesnt need sound)
food: sushi, ramen. try to avoid finger food so as not to mess up me keyboard and mouse.
Classic rock and power rock. Kinda surprised to see no one listens to Zeppelin. Weird....
Personally I like to listen to Metallica, Creed, and Trance/Techno.
Food: I am on a see food diet, if I see food I eat it.
Drink: Code Red, my own coffee blends -- good stuff....mmmmm
My co-worker shoves down on carrot sticks and V8 juice. I had to share... I usually stick w/ Coffee & a light snack...
mars bars and any music like saliva, local H, stabbing westward etc stuff in that style

lets see, since i dont have a job(only 14) i listen to a random list of everything at school, and ive got everything from all 3 hackers the movie(1 and 2) soundtracks on a playlist(techno/industrial) for while teaching myself to code, some marilyn manson, zombie, (heavy dark stuff) while surfing especially here :P and while gaming most of the time altenative stuff, the flys, silver chair, rhcp, offspring, living end etc... the later it gets the louder it gets...when it cant go up any more its time to go to bed and hope i can still hear in the morning
drink: iced tea or lemonade, it provides a nice little kick when your about to fall asleep
food: whatever's handy, maybe some ice cream and licorice? :D
Root beer aka sasparilla is a soda made from sassafras root, its got a large variety of different spices in it as well. a classic drink for the computer as far as im concerned. But dont put ice in it, ICK, it has to be freezer cold, or a BIG frosty mug works just as well. Also good with vanilla ice cream in it to make a root beer float...
I love bagel bites (the minature bagle pizza) - Pepsi-Cola - and Some Rage Against The Machine..
Linkin Park does it for me musically... As for eats...
