Are you on crack. How about Panama, Nicaragua, Spanish-American war, The Indian Wars? Is your memory so short that you don't remember that we just invaded Afghanistan? How about the very quiet war in Cambodia in the 70's. The US has started a hell of a lot of wars, generally they are over quickly but we still start them just about as much as anyone else.
Bballad, I did my research on the wars you posted and found out that you also are full of ****, and by the way I'm not on crack.
1.
Quote:
The US sent its marines, under the command of Capt. Thomas Perry, to protect American interest in the Railroad, and anything else, at the request of the US Consul and the Railroad Superintendent.
Get the whole article here The U.S was brought into the panama war because the liberals and conservatives fighting each other in the war could have messed up the railroad, the U.S. didn't care about the people down their having their civil war.
2.
Quote:
Commander Charles H. Davis of the United States Navy, whose ship had been sent to Nicaragua's Pacific coast to protect United States economic interests, arranged a truce.
Go here to see the whole article. I didn't know which war you were talking about when you said Nicaragua so the first quote is from the war that happened in the late 1800's and the U.S. joined in because their economic intrests were being threatened. Also they tried to have a truce so its not like they were all "gung ho" about things.
This is about the recent Nicaraguian War that started in 1979.
Quote:
Though the Reagan administration was officially forbidden by congress to support the contras, the US secretly provided financial aid for them
Go here to get the article. Now you could make an argument that the U.S. jumped into this war but when I talk about the U.S. I mean all three branches of government. It was the President that helped in this war, not the U.S., infact it says that he was forbidden to aide the contras in any way. So to me that means that the U.S wasn't sticking its nose in this war either, just one man who was forbidden to.
3. I don't even need to quote anything about the spanish-american war. The U.S. went into that war because the Maine blew up. It was their right to get involved once they had been attacked. Now someone can argue for hours that the Maine was an incident and the Spanish didn't do it but the thing is no one knows for sure, whats happened has happened.

the British started to build a fort there, Fort Prince George, but French troops soon arrived and threw them out. The French completed the fortification, renaming it Fort Duquesne.
This was the first confrontation between the British and French that lead up to the war. If you read here then you will see that the French started moving in on the Americans territory first.
Quote:
The French, who claimed the entire watersheds of the Mississippi and St. Lawrence Rivers—which included the Great Lakes and the Ohio River valley—became worried about British encroachments into this region and so they moved to set up a series of forts, including at Crown Point on Lake Champlain, and on the Wabash, Ohio, Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.
They were the one's to start the war, they were the one's who started by moving in on Fort Prince George, throwing out the British, then turning it into their own forts. Also the second quote shows that they started building forts up, hmmm... maybe they did this because they were preparing for the war that they were about to start!
5. The U.S. went into Cambodia because it was communist, it's that simple. At the time when it happened it was because the U.S. was trying to get rid of all of communism.
6.Bballad, you actually said, "Is your memory so short that you don't remember that we just invaded Afghanistan?" Yes, I remember that we just invaded Afghanistan. Are you so retarded that you don't remember why we invaded Afghanistan? September 11th, dumbass. We had all the rights to search in and out of Afghanistan to find that son of a bitch Osama and anyone that was working with him.
So Bballad, if your going to refute what I say you should at least know what the hell you are talking about before you post it on this forum.
